Terms of delivery of the online store
Valid from 1 January 2022. The customer commits to the delivery conditions in force with each order
The online store's products are sold by the brand Toive. The Companys registered name is RIVA Clothing Oy, ID number 2755033-6. We sell products to private individuals in Finland & around the Europe. Product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices and postage.
Products are ordered online at www.toiveshop.com via the shopping cart. All orders are confirmed by email, which shows the order price, shipping costs and the ordered products.
Terms of delivery of the online store
We will send you an order confirmation by email, where you will see:
- ordered products
- shipping costs
- the total amount of the order
You can check the contents of your order through your user account on our website.
The order will be shipped within 1-2 business days. Shipping costs to Finland are 5.90 euros. For orders over 100 euros, we offer free shipping in Finland.
Deliveries will arrive within 1-2 business days after the Posti has picked up the packages from us. The packages will arrive at the pickup point you have chosen.
You can also choose “Pickup” as the delivery method, so you can pick up your order from the Jyväskylä showroom at Yliopistokatu 32 during its opening hours.
Any unusual delivery times will be announced in the “Current Events” section of the online store and in the delivery terms and conditions.
The customer has a 14-day right of exchange and return under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The 14 days are counted from the day the order is picked up either by Pick-up or by post. If you want to exchange the product, check the availability of the desired size in the online store. If the size is not available, send us an email at info(a)toiveshop.com so that we can confirm whether an exchange is possible.
You can mail the products for exchange/return in the same package in which we sent the products to you.
Take the package to a Posti office and tell us our return code 646233 at the checkout.
Note!
The right of return applies to only unused and saleable products. We do not accept returns where the product has been washed or has clearly been used. If you return the product, please make sure that it does not get any odors, animal hair or dirt on it.
Failure to collect the parcel does not mean that the order is returned. Returning the parcel will incur additional costs for us, which are higher than normal postage. If the parcel is not collected, we will charge €10 in addition to the original postage costs and refund the remainder of the order.
We are not obligated to accept returns more than 14 days after the customer has received the product. Once the return is approved, we will register the return with Paytrail and depending on the payment method, the order amount will either be returned to your account or the invoice will be credited. In some cases, Paytrail will contact the customer directly to verify their account details – if you have made a return to us, remember to follow your email!
Note! You can also return/exchange the product at the Jyväskylä store. In this case, the return fee will not be charged.
Note! If you have placed an order through IVALO.COM, please return according to IVALO's return instructions.
We charge €5.90 for returns. We do not offer free returns because we have not included postage and return costs in the product prices.
When the return arrives at our office, we will refund the price of the returned products and the original shipping cost, minus a return fee of €5.90. If only part of the order is returned, the original shipping cost will not be refunded. If the order had free shipping costs (orders over €100), but after the return the value of the order is less than this, we will also deduct the original shipping costs from the refunded amount.
Please note that if you have selected an invoice as your payment method, the return fee of €5.90 will remain payable on the invoice.

The first exchange is free for the customer, but for subsequent exchanges on the same order we charge €5.90.
A notification of a faulty delivery (such as a missing, damaged, or incorrect item) must be made within 14 days of receiving the order. If the parcel has been damaged in transit, a complaint should also be filed immediately with the local postal service.
Please note that under EU consumer protection law, customers have a statutory right to claim for defective products within two years of delivery. Please note that the statutory two-year guarantee under EU law covers manufacturing and material defects only. It does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or defects caused by improper use or care of the product. In case of a defect, please include a photo of the product and contact us at info@toiveshop.com.
Depending on the nature of the defect, we will either provide a repair, replacement, partial refund, or a full refund.
We also deliver orders to the EU. The delivery costs are as follows:
Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Spain, Portugal and Croatia: €9.90
Frequently asked Questions
- Almost all of our products are made in the small village of Ponte De Lima in northern Portugal.
- Our knitwear is made at the Garlita factory in Lithuania.
- In addition, we have production in Finland. All our beanies are made in Finland and we have also made small batches of, for example, sheets and sweatshirts in Finland.
We strive to manufacture products according to demand. Sometimes, due to high demand, some products/sizes run out of our online store. In this case, you can leave us a warehouse watch for the product you want and this way you will receive a notification in your email when the product is available again.
Our normal delivery time within Finland is 1-3 business days. Orders leave from us every weekday at 2PM. We communicate about exceptional delivery times on social media and on our website.
